is trying his best to make a final roster spot for the Houston Texans.

Brown helped his cause with two sacks during Saturday's 23-10 preseason victory over the 49ers.

“He plays hard,” Texans coach Bill O’Brien said via chron.com. “He loves the game, and he’s in there competing. He definitely flashed a couple of times and made some good plays.”

Brown was an un-drafted free agent in 2012.

He has played for the following teams:

St. Louis Rams (2014)

Spokane Shock (2015)

Houston Texans (2015–present)

Official Clemson Bio - Had 75 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, three sacks, one interception for 20 yards, 13 quarterback pressures, three pass breakups, and two recovered fumbles in 869 snaps over 49 games (one start) in his career...athletic defensive end...protegé of former Clemson All-ACC defensive tackle Brentson Buckner, who was defensive coordinator at his high school.
