View Full Profile was penalized and fined $7,875 last week for unnecessary roughness after he ripped the helmet off Minnesota linebacker Jasper Brinkley [former gamecock] following a play.

Allen clearly retaliated after Brinkley went after Allen's faceguard, and the NFL saw it, too. Brinkley also was fined $7,875, the league confirmed.
