Clemson surges in latest ESPN Power Rankings |
Clemson (7-0) destroyed Miami 58-0 on Saturday afternoon and the
Tigers have jumped three spots to #2 overall in the latest ESPN Power Rankings for college football.
The Tigers are only one point from being tied with #1 Ohio State in the power rankings. "Dabo Swinney was fired up at the mere mention of that word a few weeks ago," ESPN stated. "And no, we won't reference it here. Let's just say this: There hasn't been a hint of a letdown with Clemson. If anything, the Tigers just seem to pick up more momentum each week and obliterated Miami 58-0, likely sealing the fate of embattled Hurricanes coach Al Golden."
