has been voted the ACC Baseball Player of the Week, while Louisville’s Josh Rogers garnered Pitcher of the Week accolades.

Okey went 13-for-23 (.565) with three home runs, two doubles, a 1.043 slugging percentage, seven RBIs and six runs in five games for the Tigers last week. He also had at least two hits in all five games, including three three-hit games. In the three-game series at Boston College, he went 8-for-14 (.571) with three homers, one double, seven RBIs and five runs.

A sophomore catcher from Mount Dora, Florida, Okey went 3-for-4 with a homer, double, four RBIs and two runs in Clemson’s 15-6 win over the Eagles on Friday, then hit two home runs Saturday. On the season, he is hitting .322 with 27 runs, 12 doubles, one triple, eight homers, 38 RBIs and two steals in 36 games.

Making starts to open and close the week, sophomore lefthander Josh Rogers went 2-0 with a pair of ACC road wins for No. 6 Louisville. On Monday, he delivered seven shutout innings while allowing just three hits in a dominant effort at No. 15 Virginia to lead the Cardinals to a 4-0 win and complete a series sweep.

A native of New Albany, Indiana, Rogers earned his second victory in seven days after striking out seven and allowing just one run in five innings in Louisville’s 11-1 triumph to clinch the series win at Duke. On the season, Rogers is 6-1 with a 3.20 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 50.2 innings.
