CLEMSON, S.C. - The Tigers' 2016 recruiting class was rated No. 12 in the nation and No. 2 in the ACC by Collegiate Baseball on Monday. The newcomers that comprise the class are already with the team, led by head coach Monte Lee and assistant coaches Bradley LeCroy, Andrew See and Greg Starbuck.

Logan Davidson, a freshman infielder from Statesville, N.C., was drafted in the 30th round by the Philadelphia Phillies. Clemson also added graduate transfer and outfielder Weston Jackson, who was an All-American at Presbyterian College, among its newcomers.

Clemson had a top-12 class despite losing two players, first-round pick Carter Kieboom (Washington Nationals) and second-round pick Travis MacGregor (Pittsburgh Pirates), to the major league draft.

The Tigers are coming off a 44-20 record and ACC championship season in 2016. Clemson also returns two of its three first-team All-Americans in Seth Beer (OF) and Pat Krall (LHP).
