From Tampa Bay Online:
"I started out playing three technique and transitioned into playing end not long after I got to college. I'm looking forward to going back to my roots a little bit." The Bucs' plan, should McCoy be unable to play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, is expected to call for Bowers to work at three technique on passing downs and for Frank Okam to work there on running downs.
"I feel at home there," said Bowers, who likely will play the tackle position this week in place of starter Gerald McCoy, who injured his left ankle during the 48-3 loss at San Francisco on Sunday.
