CLEMSON - Head coach Brad Brownell met with the media Saturday afternoon in Littlejohn Coliseum to discuss the state of the basketball program and changes within the program.

Among the changes are the departure of longtime assistant coach Mike Winiecki, the transfer of point guard Ty Hudson, a move to a zone defense and the announcement that point guard Shelton Mitchell will undergo knee surgery next Thursday.

Brownell told the media that the margin between making the NCAA Tournament and being left out is "razor thin" and that he feels like the Tigers were two games away from making the tournament last season.
