WATCH: Fans cheer Tigers as they leave for Sweet 16

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson fans braved the cold weather on Tuesday afternoon as they cheered the Clemson Basketball team that left to play in the 'Sweet 16' of the 2018 NCAA Tournament.

Last week's 31-point second-round win over Auburn was the largest win margin for the Tigers in NCAA Tournament play (previous 13 vs. St. Mary's 1989) and the largest victory so far in this year's NCAA Tournament. The 25 wins by the Tigers this season is tied for a school record.

Check out the different videos of fans wishing the Tigers good luck in Omaha.

Clemson Elementary's kids were also in support of the Tigers as they cheered fervishly with their orange pom-poms from the street of their school.

Obviously, Clemson diehard fans Paula Grooms and her husband Franklin were at the bus saying goodbye to the basketball team.

The Clemson Basketball team made it to the airport and now headed to Omaha to play Kansas on Friday night.
