Clemson capped off back-to-back 11 win seasons with a dramatic 40-35 win over Ohio State in the Orange Bowl. Sammy Watkins earned MVP honors after a record-setting 16 reception, 227 yard performance. Tajh Boyd put forth a record-setting performance of his own, finishing with 505 total yards and 6 total touchdowns. Stephone Anthony sealed the win for Clemson with an interception late in the 4th quarter.
