Vic Beasley to miss several weeks with injury

by - Assoc. Editor -

Atlanta Falcons defensive end Vic Beasley unloaded on quarterback Aaron Rodgers that led to a fumble recovery for a touchdown during the third quarter of the Falcon's 34-23 win on NBC's Sunday Night Football. During the game he had two tackles, a sack, and the forced fumble in 22 defensive snaps.

However, the former Clemson standout left the game soon after with a hamstring injury as he was helped off the field by the training staff and didn't return to the game.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport is reporting that Beasley has a slight hamstring tear and will miss at least a month of NFL action.

Rookie Takk McKinley will be asked to play more minutes in Beasley's absence.
