Saban: "Renfrow is a pain in the you know what" |
Alabama is probably not the biggest fan of the name
Hunter Renfrow.
The former walk-on receiver has four touchdowns against the Crimson Tide in the last two National Championship games. Head coach Nick Saban had the following to say about Renfrow during his press conference on Saturday morning. "Well, Hunter Renfrow is a pain in the you know what in terms of nothing different from last year to this year, Saban said. "The guy is very quick, very instinctive as a player, knows how to get open, makes the right decisions, really kind of a go-to guy for them on third down, especially in the third and 4 to 6, 7 range. So very, very crafty, very quick, but very smart in terms of how he plays." Renfrow thought it was a honor when he heard about the comments that Saban had bestowed upon him. "For one of the best to say that and best to ever coach and do it is an honor," Renfrow said. "Hopefully I’ll be a pain in the butt again Monday night." In 2017, Renfrow has 55 catches for 571 yards and three touchdowns.
