Clemson ascended as high as No. 3 in the polls before dropping 3-of-4 games last week, with a neutral-site loss to Georgia and a home series defeat to Miami.
Those struggles dropped Monte Lee's Tigers (26-10, 11-7 ACC) seven spots Monday to No. 14 in the Baseball America Top 25 and six to No. 17 in the D1Baseball Top 25.
After a No. 5 rank this time last week, Clemson fell to No. 18 in the RPI, holding a No. 33 strength of schedule ranking.
Clemson goes for the split in the season series at Georgia on Tuesday (7 p.m./SEC Network) and then hits the road to Wake Forest for three games (Friday opener at 6 p.m./ACC Network Extra).
The Deacs (17-20, 10-8) are a game behind the Tigers in the Atlantic Division standings in third, while Clemson is two games behind NC State (28-7, 13-5) at the top. Clemson would be a 4-seed in the ACC Baseball Championship currently.
