Elliott on improvement in Bryant's passing game

Clemson held a closed scrimmage on Thursday morning.

Co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott spoke with the media following the scrimmage about several topics including the improvement of Kelly Bryant in the passing game.

"The balls down the field giving those guys a chance where they need to be. He's hitting them over the shoulder, hitting them in stride," Elliott said. "He's ripping balls in the seams. The quick game is coming out on time. It's just another year. It's another step forward. Those are the things that I'm seeing. Obviously, we know what he is capable of as a game manager."

Elliott said that Chase Brice has been impressive during Fall Camp.

"Chase has been the best guy some days," he said. "I am really proud of him and really confident in him. He has battled. It ain't already decided, Chase is battling."
