Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson was named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for October.

Watson was 108-for-148 passing for 1,294 yards with 10 passing touchdowns, and a 110.6 passer rating this month. On the ground, he had 167 rushing yards and two scores.

In total, the Texans finished October with a 3-1 record.

For the season, he is the first player in NFL history to have at least 15 touchdowns (16) and five rushing scores in his team's first eight games of a season.
