Clemson cancels First Friday parade |
Clemson University officials announced on Thursday morning that the First Friday parade is canceled due to a threat of severe weather this evening.
Clemson released a statement about the cancellation of the event. "University officials have closely monitored the weather forecast for this afternoon's First Friday Parade. With a severe threat of rain and lightning during the parade lineup process between 4 and 6 p.m., the decision has been made to cancel today's festivities. Organizers apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the safety of both participants and spectators is the number-one priority."
