From the Times and Democrat:

Should the SCHSL find that Allendale-Fairfax used an ineligible player, it could bring about a major shift in each team's playoff fate. With Friday night's win in what was a thrilling back-and-forth contest, Allendale-Fairfax (7-2, 6-0) clinched the Region 5-A title and a home playoff game. The loss dropped Bamberg-Ehrhardt to 7-2 overall and 5-1 in Region 5-A and set them up to begin the playoffs on the road.
