This season we will provide statistical updates for several of the top players across the south. You will be able to check each week, and compare how the top recruits are faring against each other. This past Friday two of the south's finest players kicked their seasons off.

Jonathan Hannah had 3 catches for 40 yards at tight end. Hannah also contributed three tackles and 1.5 sacks. Hannah fought through double and triple teams all night long. Southview was able to defeat Southeast Raleigh 14-9.

Carlos Thomas showed why he is one of the top playmakers in the country this year. Thomas returned a kickoff 94 yards for the touchdown. Thomas had 5 catches for 90 yards and a touchdown. Thomas and his Banneker High teammates came up a little short to Troupe County, but look to bounce back this week against Griffin.

As most schools start this coming Friday, look for several statistical updates this weekend.
