Question-Is Cortney Vincent one of the biggest surprises at camp? Tony Answer-The staff really liked him last season. He looked good at the Shrine Bowl. However, the staff did not think he would be ready this season. Vincent reported to camp in good shape and has better instincts than some thought. He could play this year. The young linebackers (Waters, Watkins, Vincent) have looked very good at different times this fall camp. Question-Is Barry Humphries really one of the top five centers in the country? Bear Fan Answer-I really like Humphries. He is a tremendous drive blocker. He is also a very stronger young man. We really like his future. He does not play center now however could play there in college. I would think it is already difficult enough to rank players from one state but when you start talking about the entire country then that is really difficult. Question-How long have we been working on Wake Forest? Tracey Answer-The staff began looking at film and formulating game plan thoughts a long time ago but the practice schedule and scout team work just began Monday. This will give the team two solid weeks of work against a very difficult offenses to prepare for.
