In your honest opinion was it a good move or a bad move to back off of Schaeffer?

It was a bold move by the coaching staff. Brent Schaeffer comes with a ton of talent and a fair amount of baggage. With Will Procter, Cullen Harper, and Tribble Reese all returning next season, it was a good move. There is more to the situation than is being released, which made it an even better move. If you look at Bowden's tenure at Clemson, he has backed off of talented players before that had baggage. In the end, the moves have proved to be the right decision. I am confident this will once again prove to be the right choice, with or without Will Korn.

Should we be concerned about Crezdon Butler?

Personally, I am always concerned until Signing Day. I am even more concerned when I played is not commmitted. Clemson still leads over NC State, and I expect an announcement early next week. There was no real clear reason why the press conference was postponed. I think Clemson is in very good shape, and Butler should be the first commitment for Marion Hobby as a member of the staff at Clemson.

Do you see Rendrick Taylor or Tyler Grisham catching more balls this season?

Coming out of summer workouts, I would say Grisham. Taylor has everything you want physically, but he did struggle catching the ball some. I am a full believer that Coach Swinney could teach my 10 week old puppies to catch the football, so that is not a big concern. Grisham is just the more consistent receiver of the two. These two players have the potential to really add a lot to this offense. Wide receiver is my biggest concern about this season. I want to see Grisham and Taylor challenge the veterans to push the older players to be better. The only real competition in the spring was between Aaron Kelly and Kelvin Grant. Everyone else knew they were going to play. Depth breeds competition which makes for better players on Saturdays.
