Davis To Return to Campus On Friday

by -

CLEMSON -- After practice on Thursday head coach Tommy Bowden said freshman running back James Davis is scheduled to return to campus on Friday night and will participate in the scrimmage on Saturday. Bowden implied Davis leaving school was similar to previous departures by former running Bernard Rambert and offensive lineman William Henry for homesickness. Bowden also said Davis is on a short list of freshmen that will contribute to the 2005 campaign.

In other news, reserve offensive lineman Zach Green will miss the entire season due to an abdominal illness.
