"We self-imploded today. We had critical points in the game where we made mistakes, especially with penalties and fumbles. We didn't play sharp today and that was the reason we lost." "They made plays when they needed to in the second half, and we didn't. They came out of the locker room with defensive adjustments and they capitalized on that." "C.J. and James played extremely well today; however, our mistakes outweighed the positives in today's game." "They started bringing guys down that we couldn't block. We had a bust on one of our reverses that could have been a touchdown. We just have to correct our mistakes and get ready for Wake Forest. We had a bump in the road that we've got to get corrected before we go up to Wake Forest." "We moved the ball well, but when we moved the ball, we had penalties, and that killed us. I felt like the offensive line made a good push all day. Coming into the bye week with a loss is always tough, but we've got to use it as motivation. We've got to get better this next week in practice and prepare for a good Wake Forest team."
