Notes on release of ACC Football opponents through 2015

Teams Clemson will play each year from the Coastal Division

2005 DUK MIA

2006 UNC at VAT

2007 at DUK VAT

2008 DUK at UVA

2009 at MIA UVA

2010 MIA at UNC

2011 at VAT UNC

2012 VAT at DUK

2013 at UVA DUK

2014 UVA at MIA

2015 at UNC MIA

* Clemson will play at wake forest in both 2005 and 2006

* Clemson will play each team in the opposite division (except Georgia Tech) twice every five years

* the rotation is staggered, not grouped

* Clemson won't play Virgnia again until 2008

* Clemson won't play at Miami (FL) until 2009

*Clemson will play at Duke just once (2007) between now and 2011

* the schedule will repeat itself for the opposite division every 5 years, but will only repeat itself with BOTH divisions every 10 years (e.g., in 2006, we will play at Virginia Tech (one of our two opposite division games)...that same year, we will play N.C. State at home. In 2011, we will again play at Virginia Tech, but we will be playing AT N.C. State).

* the five-year rotation for opposite division teams will renew in 2011, 2016, 2021, 2026, etc

* the 10-year "true" rotation will renew itself in 2006, 2016, 2026, 2036, etc.
