Offensive lineman Courtney Abbott is being recruited by Clemson, Georgia, Kentucky,

Louisville, Virginia, Florida State, LSU, Auburn, South Carolina, Michigan,

Tennessee, Mississippi, Penn St., BYU, and Miami. He has received offers

from each school, with the exception of Miami. He currently lists his top

seven choices as Clemson, Kentucky, Florida State, LSU, Auburn,

Virginia, and Georgia.

"I like Clemson because Kwam Williams plays for them, and he is my

friend from way back," Abbott said. "We have played on the same team

before, and I would really like to play with him again."

Abbott visited Kentucky two weeks ago, and will visit Virginia next week.

"I have a lot of schools recruiting me for basketball too," Abbott said.

"Basketball is my first love, but football will get me where I need to go,

which is the NFL."

Westlake High School is currently 4-1 on the season.
