Clemson received four commitments during official visits this weekend.

Terrance Huey ATH 5-9 170 Marietta,GA

Ronny Delusme DB 6-2 185 Naples,FL

Leroy Smith DB 5-11 170 Quincy,FL

Aaron Hunt PK 5-11 205 Oak Ridge,TN

Terrance Huey is a 5-9 and 170-pound speedy athlete that played running back, wide receiver, and defensive back for Marietta High School in Marietta, GA. This is the same school which produced current Clemson running back, Travis Zachery. Although most schools are recruiting him as an athlete type, Clemson is looking for him to fill a running back slot. Last season Huey rushed for 1,281 yards and 13 touchdowns. As a junior, Huey was the state champion in the long jump and also placed third

in the 200 meters. After his offical visit Huey said he just felt comfortable at Clemson. Besides Zachery who was his player host on his visit, he also knows linebacker Keith Adams from College Park, Ga., and Lauren Nicholson, a freshman on the women's track team from Marietta.

“I had positive vibes when I’ve been down there,” said Huey. “I was at the Florida State game and the Marshall game. I used to talk to Travis (Zachery) all the time when he would come home and he would tell me how it is. I went down there and checked it out and I liked it a lot.”

Last weekend Huey visited Auburn and although he has committed to Clemson, Huey will visit Ole Miss on January 21 and Marshall on January 28. Clemson assistant, Ron West, is recruiting Huey.

Ronnie Delusme from Lely High School in Naples, FL brings excellent size as a defensive back at 6-2 and 185 pounds. Delusme also played wide receiver in high school but he says the Tigers are recruiting him to play corner and kickoff returner. This season Delusme returned kickoffs of 98, 90, and 88 yards for touchdowns and picked off 2 passes.

On his visit to Clemson Delusme’s player host was Brian Mance and

Delusme said he was impressed with the academics at Clemson and he really liked Vickery Hall.

Delusme visited Auburn last weekend and has canceled a visit to Florida for the upcoming weekend. Clemson assistant, Brad Scott, is recruiting Delusme.

Leroy Smith a 5-11 and 170-pound defensive back from Shanks High School in Quincy, FL will join former teammates quarterback Willie Simmons and safety Charles Harper, at Clemson. Smith’s current teammate receiver Ronnie Thomas is also a Clemson commitment. Smith had 33 receptions this season and defensively, he had 71 tackles and four interceptions. Smith, a full academic qualifier, also had 63 tackles and 5 interceptions as a junior.

On his visit to Clemson Smith’s player hosts were Simmons and Harper.

“It was a great visit," said Smith.“ I like the academic program and the chance for early playing time at Clemson. They are not that deep at corner.”

Smith has committed to Clemson although he says he will still take trips to Florida State on January 21 and Central Florida on January 28. He is being recruited by Clemson assistant, Rick Stockstill. Head Coach Tommy Bowden

and Stockstill are scheduled to visit Smith this week.

On Monday morning Aaron Hunt a 5-11 and 205-pound place kicker from Oak Ridge, TN also committed to Clemson. Hunt made his official visit to Clemson over the weekend and actually committed then, but was asked by the Clemson coaches not to go public until Monday. Hunt’s player host was Chad Speck.

"It was a great visit,” said Hunt. “The facilities are awesome."

Known for his long-distance field goals and through-the-end zone kickoffs, Hunt hit on 10 of 16 field goals and 41 of 45 extra points as a senior. His long field goals were 50 and 52 yards which were both records for his high school. He also 56 of his 71 kickoffs reached the end zone. Hunt was also recruited by Western Carolina and Middle Tennessee St.
