•Clemson received good news today on two players. Starting offensive guard David Smith suffered a high ankle sprain and not a broken ankle against Auburn on Saturday night. He will miss the Miami game, but is expected back sometime in the month of October. Quarterback Kyle Parker was “bruised and sore” in various places on Sunday, but Clemson Coach Dabo Swinney expects Parker to be ready for the Miami game on October 2. He will be limited in practice during the open week.

•Clemson is now 20th in the nation in scoring, 23rd in rushing offense, ninth in net punting, sixth in turnover margin, fourth in tackles for loss and 14th in sacks. Kyle Parker is 20th in the nation in passing efficiency, Marcus Gilchrist is 8th in punt returns and Dawson Zimmerman is 11th in punting.

•The time for the Clemson vs. Miami game should be announced sometime Monday afternoon.
