LaRoche was l5-10 in Driscoll's last season as a head coach, tying the school record for victories in a season. La Roche was 15-5 that year against Division III teams.

He then served as an assistant coach at Butler County Community college for two seasons, including a state championship campaign in 1992. In 1992-93 he served as an assistant coach at his collegiate alma mater, Slippery Rock University.

Driscoll earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Slippery Rock (PA) University in 1992. He has completed course work on a master's in elementary education with an emphasis in mathematics.
