Hobbs Suffers Injury |
Clemson, SC-Clemson forward Chris Hobbs, a member of the ACC
All-Rookie team last year, suffered a torn plantar facia of the left foot during an individual workout on Wednesday, September 5 and will miss the next four weeks of individual workouts. The injury to should not force him to miss the beginning of team practice on October 13th. Hobbs was Clemson's fourth leading scorer last year with a 7.3 average and he led the team in rebounding with 6.3 per game. He was the leading freshman rebounder in the ACC last year and led the Tigers in field goal percentage with a .566 figure. He recorded six double doubles and scored a season high 28 points against Virginia in Littlejohn Coliseum. He averaged 8.6 points and 7.3 rebounds a game in ACC play last year. Related Articles
