He's a better player than any of the transfer additions this past year.

I'm sure that if all coach Bakich had to do was to tell pitchers they had to play for Clemson the next few seasons that he would have already done that but, they have to want Clemson before they will come...

We're getting pitchers, I feel more comfortable in the pitching right now than the offense. We lost the only 2 consistent hitters we had last year in Cam and Listi. The pitching should be better with Knaak, Bell, and McGovern or Titsworth as the weekend starters, you thrown in getting other back healthy like Moehler (who should be really good), Samol, Gillen...then the transfers and incoming freshman. I want some freaking .300+ hitters and not have to rely on the pitching to throw #### near shutouts every game to win. I got 0 faith in Gaffney and Priest leading the charge next year. I like this addition except the fact he'll be a Sr and only give us 1 yr.

Love this addition but where are the pitchers?

We need offense more than pitching at the moment. We'll have a lot of the good pitchers back plus the ones that were hurt like Moehler, Gillen and Samol.

How do we know he is not a pitcher?

Article doesn’t even mention what position he has been playing…C’mon G-Mann!

Played a lot of right field. 3-5 spot in the rotation.

He was 3 for 21 against fsu, ga tech (2), va tech (2).
1 double against ga tech. 1 double, 1 single against va tech in one of their games. No runs or rbi's.

That's the only P5 teams they played this season. Small sample size.

4 for 26 with 2 rbi's in one game against Samford. The 4/26 was the 7 games they played against Samford and etsu. Samford and etsu were 1, 2 in socon this year.

So the 12 teams that I consider good teams he was 7/47 and no homers. He feasted on the bottom half socon teams. He didn't strike out much in those 12 games. I'm not making any assumptions Because obviously the coaches saw something they liked. Personally, based off these stats, I wouldn't consider him a power hitter when faced with p5 mid-week pitching. 🤷‍♂️

Would you like me to give you some of the stats of our guys who have played D1 baseball for years against the better teams they played this year? Anyone can pull any stats from any small sample size and create any narrative they want. You can see the talent but one thing I noticed reading his committed thread on X is he is a potential early draft prospect so hopefully he can get on campus and see how it goes. I don't care what he did bc what some ppl refuse to mention is how college athletics is supposed to be about development. You know getting better year over year. I know some D1 studs who had monster years to lay a dud the following so forgive me for not caring about his numbers against VT or GT.

Dalley and Wideman will add a big uh-oh factor into our 2026 lineup.
