What most don't realize, if you're not a conference champion, only 14 other teams are selected. That's how special it is.

Put into perspective, if basketball had the same criteria, we would have made it in 1980 and probably 98 and that's it. Not a dig at any program, but it wouldn't be many Clemson teams outside of football, baseball, or soccer that would have ever been able to compete for a championship. That's unreal to think how special this is.

Yeah, this is the part that really jumps out to me. Not only is the program still in its infancy, it has quickly found its footing in a powerhouse conference.

Good job. That’s great news. I must admit I know very little about lacrosse, so I have to rely on those of you who have much more knowledge than I have. But, that’s very impressive for such a new program in a powerhouse lacrosse conference.
