I don't guess I've thought about what players, especially High School and college players must do until I just read what Mafah had to say and what I got out of what he said.
What I got from what Mafah said is that you really have to dedicate everything about yourself to FB from HS through college if being a pro FB player is what you want to do with your life. And getting away from your dream for just a month from the time you learned that you have the athletic ability to play the sport could jeopardize your entire dream with just one instant of slaking off.
Being a professional FB player means you have chosen a lively hood of physical body abuse day in and day out, and if you slack away from listening to what your body is saying just one time, it could all be over in just that one instance.
I'm thinking that a college player that has all the tools that could help them chase their dream of being a pro FB player would also mean that partying with your friend's at late hours in the night could lead to ending dream bc your body won't heal without plenty of rest and eating and drinking the right things that helps your body to heal. And I think that I just understood the dedication that those kids have to dedicate their lives to if their dream is to have a career in the NFL. Even with the athletic ability when I was that young, I know that I couldn't have done what these kids are doing with taking special care of their body like what they have to do now. Congrats to them with that type of dedication!!!
