Some times I wonder what Jim Davis thinks about the state of the Basketball program at Clemson University since he left or since he was let go for whatever reason and it has haunted the Basketball program to this day.I mean when you have built a program in 18 years that went to 14 NCAA's,2 WNIT's Won the ACC Tournament 2 times and compile a 355-197 overall record and then have to see the program go thru 4 head coaches in 17 years and only 1 time make the postseason, that's got to be hard knowing what you built hasn't been able to be kept up and basically see the program turn into non existent just about
Clemson the last 22 yrs. He had a bizarre season and a half where they were absolutely horrible (honestly, about like they are year-in-year out now). It was almost like there was a side matter clouding the issue; that's strictly my opinion, as I never heard any rumors. But he would go on WCCP for the post-game interview, and it was pretty bad. Lots of, "We cover this in practice, and I just don't know what to do." At some point, your a.d. is going to believe you really don't know what to do.
