CBS Sports 130 ranks Tigers outside top-10

Clemson's struggles in a second bout with a Power Five conference opponent were enough for a significant drop in the rankings on one prominent college football website. The CBS Sports 130 ranking dropped Clemson from fifth to 11th this week. The Tigers improved to 2-1 in a strange 14-8 win over Geor Read Update »

Makes no difference now. The dominos will fall, we just can't be one of them.

Same as always with Clemson, we cannot get in the playoffs with 2 losses.
We have to win every game, just like Dabo says. Maybe we get in with 1 loss.

No different that 1981, Clemson had to win every game to be #1.
Bama, LSU, Georgia, Ohio State and a few others can get in with 2 losses.

The only 2 loss Champion in the last 60 years (AP), is LSU in 2007.
Normally, if you have 2 losses, you don't deserve to be #1.
In 1981 Joe Paterno argued that a 2 loss Penn State deserved to be #1 over an undefeated Clemson!
The playoff makes it possible, and the expanded playoff (8-12 teams) will make it likely in the future.

We still have a chance, but our offense has to show real significant improvement!
We have the Defense and special teams to beat anyone this year, but the offense must improve.

Go Tigers, Beat NC State!

Exactly, the offense can not expect the defense, and special teams to score the points while they get experience practicing in live game scenarios. Even if they have to make time practicing on their own time. If that is what they have to do to get better, then some of the leaders on the O line must pull their team mates together and practice, practice is the only way to get better bc, live game action is just to fast to learn from!!!!

Completely fair based on performance thus far. If the offense improves and DJ gets going look out.
