247Sports Composite 5-star linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. (Denton, Tx.) announced Clemson as being one of his top schools on Tuesday. Hill received a Clemson offer on June 1, the first day they handed out 2023 offers. Hill is rated as the top linebacker for the 2023 class by the 247Sports Composite. He Read Update »

Anybody at any other school can plead their case why a recruit should come to their school, and we all do. But it's a fact that with decent talent of 3 and 4 stars, Brent Venables can scheme one of the best defenses in the country year in, and year out. It is also known that Brent Venable coaches the Line Backers, and he designs the schemes for each individual LB that allows them be successful with the talent that each of his LB's displays athletically.

I don't care what college a 5 star LB was a fan of growing up, or who their parents are a fan of now, if they don't choose to be coached by Brent Venable's, IMO, they lesson their chances of how successful they could have been in college bc, BV has taken less than 5 star LB talent, and help them to be successful at the next level, as in the NFL....
