we seem to have more guys banged up for longer periods than any time I recall. Maybe due to the disrupted off season. Other teams also seem to be having this too

And to think some conferences opted for spring ball, followed up by fall ball. Watch those players next year from those conferences and I bet injuries will be through the roof.

Yep, the lack of off season training could very well be the reason for these nagging injuries. Losing Skalski is a pretty significant loss from the LB core with his experience and leadership. But, a scope has a pretty quick recovery time in most instances, but still, this means that he will be out for the ND game, bummer!!!

Good question. To be honest this sounds like an injury that will keep Skalski less than 100% until full rest after the season. We need someone else to step up big from here on out.

Makes you wonder if it’s not similar to the groin injury Nick Bosa has his last year at OSU. He missed quite a few games as I recall and eventually declared.

The only thing I can think of would be a torsion-
which he would not care about football in the least -if that was the problem.

I think 15 will step in and do a fine job for us! He'll have all the support he needs including Skalski on the sideline giving him advice. He's just inexperienced; but has played some meaningful snaps just not a ton like Skalski. It's going to hurt losing Skalski for certain; but I am thinking it will be minimal - especially now that the team knows for certain he will be out for a while.

Dabo said groin. I just dont understand whr Dabo would say he should be back next week, when clearly not the case. And like I said Tyler Davis will drag on for the rest of the season also. We will be lucky if not.
When we get injuries we get em big.

Everybody loves the QB, but Skalski has been my favorite player for a while. I've liked to watch him even when he was a young back up. The guy just always had a nose for the football.
But, again, Clemson just develops their players about as well as anyone in the country which should be a strong recruiting tool.
I'm also super impressed with the young Venables. I was hesitant at first thinking he was just a spoiled coaches kid that got a scholarship because of his daddy. But, no, both of them are really good particularly Jake at the moment. Tyler will come along and be a coach back there.
Also, I have seen some negative talk about Nolan Turner. Nope, the guy may be white, but I bet he turns in a super 40 at either the combine or at pro day and is picked up by some NFL team and plays in that league a while. I predict it. The guy can ball and is tied with 13 others for the most interceptions with 3.
Skalski is my favorite, but with the talent that Clemson has now across the board, we will keep going strong. Tyler Davis and Jordan Williams being out may suck, but with Pinckney and Bresee around I am not too worried about it. Kendrick being out hurts a little, but I have faith in the current CBs.
Mostly, it sucks for Skalski and Davis and the rest of the injured players. Davis was a beast last year as a freshman and saved the interior of the line.

Simpson has looked really good. Different approach than Skalski - more speed and less bruising - but coach V knows how to play to their strengths. I wouldn’t be surprised for the next two weeks to be his coming out party! GO TIGERS!!!

at MLB. I was pleased with his performance, no missed tackles, no arm tackles, always in the mix. Well be alright for a few weeks.
