The entire college football world seems about ready to implode when Alabama is not ranked number 1. Let all of the talking heads breath a sigh of relief and go back to worshiping Alabama. Meanwhile Clemson will build for the playoffs when the Tigers will give the Tide a good whipping once again.

Stupid way to score a poll. Clemson has more 1st place votes but is number 2 because coaches basically have more than 1 vote. I am sure Sec coaches would rank Bama first and place Clemson at 5th or lower. Meaningless at this point of season, regardless

Right, the math isn't that simple.
A 36-point difference in spite of more 1st-place votes? Some coaches dropped us way past 2nd. Could be the SEC cabal; if anybody cared enough to investigate, it's possible to track it, but I'm sure Dabo has no issues with it.
But no, nobody gets multiple votes. Don't know exactly what you mean there.

Both of these polls are meaningless. The only poll that matters is the Committee's 1st ranking later on in October/November(?). All these polls are nothing but fodder. We have a bye week to clean up any mistakes and catch our breath.before FSU. Use them for bulletin board material and that's about it. GO TIGERS!!!

If the coaches are coaching a team that is playing, how do they watch and rank teams? By what conference they are in or what someone says? Just curious.
