Remember when we would flood fax a Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla bowl for an invite? You kids out there under 30 don’t know hardship.

So much for the New Years 6 Bowls which were the only other ones that people got excited for after the playoffs. Now we will see even more of the wannabe's sit out games. I haven't looked but i am assuming the first is on Sunday this coming year.

Mark my words, we will see a giant leap in players not playing bowls. It was probably around 10 this past year, bet it 30 this coming year and will jump to almost 50 by 2021. 40 bowls devalued the excitement and the playoffs decreased it further. If we move to 8 team playoff, you better drop the bowls to 10 or less or there wont be fans or players.

System is almost broke. I like 4teams, but bowls should drop to top 40 teams. All these 5-7 records making bowls is just dumb and ruins the purpose of being applauded for excellence.
