I like the new technology..looks more customized for the players and could help in head impacts. Also like the idea on the new strap...that should help reduce the penalties from helmets flying off from straps unbuckling.

EXACTLY!! My first thought when I saw this was that I didn't love that the paw is offset to the back and top now and not so much in the middle of the side...but for safety I'll live with it. That said, NO CHROME, NO GIMMICKS! We're an elite team with tradition, we don't need to be a wanna be like Oregon, Maryland, etc...

Really large & covering a lot of the helmet surface. Very contemporary.

Yeah! They look sleek, but they ain't chrome! Please forgive my bragging, but I won one of the 3 prototype chrome helmets in existence at auction during this past Recruiting Wrap-Up event. It's signed by all the coaches; I put it in a display box; and it lights up the room when you walk in. Just sayin' ...

That Hexagon Looking Thing is something you might want to get more info on

That may save a lot of concussions down the road.

As a marketing professional who deals with creating a brand on a daily basis, it reduces/impedes my space to make that happen...
I confess that to say this, at the risk of hanging myself...I don't care if the paw is 1" x 1" on that helmet's canvas. If it means our youth, young men and professionals are better protected from the proven terrible side effects of CTE...

Yes I understand safety and it is the highest of priorities but........the thang is ugly. Wear it. I would never say don't as long as that is the safest helmet on the market but. I'm sorry it just. Is. Ugly.

Ugly is people's lives being ruined from multiple concussions, not the aesthetics of a helmet. HTH.

They wouldn't push for more/better safety devices. The "better" we make padding, the harder/more recklessly people think they can hit. Want to reduce CTE? Go back to leather helmets.

I like Clemson being in the forefront for player safety. I think if the stripes were not quite as larger then they could enlarge the PAW and tweak the appearance
