My gripe in todays world the player should have texted the parent as soon as it happened.
Sometimes in one big happy family the kids grow up over 18 and at that point its on him to tell the parents when he wants.
If its not life threatening then its not like parents MUST know first anyway.
Torn ACL (hope not) is bad but it happens in sports. Parents should know ASAP but if not by now then I think its time to release the info to the fans.
I'm surprised somebody hasn't figured it out yet who it is..

It's not life threatening, but I would say a major injury is life altering. They haven't had an MRI yet, so they don't even know the extent of the injury. Maybe, and I know this is crazy, the knee is just a little banged up but the coaches don't want to say "Hey our player has a tweeked knee" if he is actually going to play against Georgia.
Also, my parents would be pissed if the internet knew about my major injury before they knew the details.

You don't get an MRI until swelling of the injury is down first off.
Second, you use the words "our" and "we" whenever you are clearly not a part of the Clemson fanbase.

The parent should know, butif not by know then when. This injury has happened hours ago. If letting the parent know was the #1 priority then tell them within 15 min it happened then update as more goes on.
If this was Thursday before UGA then please don't tell us. Lets screw with UGA but its the 19th. Might as well spill the beans.

I wounder if Dabo has given any thought to all this secret agent BS he is playing with this season with the Clemson fan base. You can let things like this, that he is doing cause a fan base have a not give a chit attitude b/c he has let us know loud and clear that we don't matter. IMO, you keep your fan base close to the team, by sharing the little but important things with the fan base. No more practice stats, no more cut tape of players in practice that never gives anything away. To me IMO, he is separating the team from the fan base. Just saying b/c, this has been a very boring fall camp for me, and probably for others also....

to be fair, the only names that have really been thrown out by some are Alexander and Jarrett...every other name has been in ruling out who it was from seeing them in the interview videos (which were all done after practice) and from comments from Dabo which state they will be in the GA, ruling them out (like Peake & Seckinger).

Either Robert Nkemdiche or Chad Kelly... Not sure which one it could be, but something tells me that Beverly flew in from Nigeria as soon as she heard the news. This could spell trouble for retaining him on the team. He may revoke his commitment from Clemson. If it was Chad Kelly aka. "Swagg" then someone should inform his scout manager immediately. Wouldn't want his football career to be ruined by a sprained ankle or bruised ego. After all we wouldn't want the likes of Kanye West showing up as representation for Swaggy there at the indoor practice facility. Brent Venables and Chad Morris would have their hands full explaining that one.

I will remember to do that next time. I have a symbol for him... It's just not located on a Keyboard or a Windows 8.1 program. Wasn't a fan even when he was a Tiger. Still not a fan and probably will never be since I don't watch arena football.
