Practice in NO

What’s the deal with the lower seeded Alabama getting their practices in the SuperDome and Clemson having to practice at Tulane? SEC bias?

The lower seed gets to practice at the game site. Must be part of the rules.

If true, it may be due to real grass vs astroturf being less likely to cause practice injury or maybe even wants less media presence. If in fact it was Dabo's choice and he chose Tulane, I'm sure he had a good reason.

Don't we practice on in the indoor facility on art. turf? If I am am a receiver or QB I want to practice in the place I am playing to get use to picking up the ball and depth perception. Also, timing with route running is often off slightly.

We could.....if the SEC didn't get two teams into the playoff.

Speed will show..great athletes on both sides for sure. Kind of like staying away from the hoopla as long as possible.

As a wise businessman looking for clicks, David Hood decided to question the integrity of the process, suggesting yet another conspiracy. Fortunately our fine investigative reporter was quickly answered by the Sugar Bowl before David was able to spread the consiracy thoughts too far.

We know Dabo hates open practice time. How much closed practice time is he realistically going to get holding practice at the host site? Dabo is very protective of his game plan and I am sure he selected Tulane to allow himself a greater sense of control over who could possibly view his practices.
