No way, no how. You won't get that from Joe.
Why would you? The man is up double digits. Why expose him any more than you absolutely have to and give him a chance to step on a rake? Because even Young Biden was good for the rake in the face.
Less is just a whole lot more, if you're Biden's campaign manager. It's the easiest campaign ever to run...just let Trump run around obliterating Trump, let Biden come out and take his obligatory bow, wave, shuck, and jive, and then Exit Stage Left, and as soon as humanly possible.
Biden wins this one by not campaigning, and being the guy who is not Trump. Hopefully he is good for that.
I'm not sure he is, mind, but that is my hope.
We've seriously got to get away from this two-party monstrosity we've got going and get ourselves some actual candidates...where a debate and a discussion of actual ideas and merits actually means something again.

The landscape will change as the season develops. People assume that if Biden doesn't speak out on one of Trump's goals then he is approving of it. As the heat gets turned up in the last six weeks when most independents and moderates make their decisions final Biden's voice must be heard.
I wouldn't let Joe out of the basement either. Not trying to disrespect the man but he's already proven he can't think on his feet.
In 2015 pubs had 17 candidates, a few months ago dems had 22. We have plenty of people trying to grab the spotlight. Whether or not we choose the right one to represent us is our fault. There is no money to back third party candidate and no desire by either party members to forfeit an election by backing someone who resembles their party.
My complaint was always that by election time they wiggled and squirmed so much that there really wasn't enough difference to get people out to vote.
