WATCH: NC State coach complains about penalties at halftime

by - Assoc. Editor -

North Carolina State coach Dave Doeren was interviewed by ESPN's Holly Rowe at halftime of the Clemson-NC State game.

During the short interview, Doeren shared that he thinks that the refs will probably play a large role on the outcome of the game.

"Both teams are getting them (penalties)," he said. "They are calling a lot of stuff on the field today. We know what kind of game they are calling. We got to play clean, can't grab people, and unfortunately, they aren't going to let us determine it with our play. There is going to be a lot of yellow on the ground."

Reaction -- There indeed are a ton of flags in this game as defensive back Johnathan Alston (#5) is tugging at Deon Cain's jersey on almost every passing play.
