Worst pickup story

Thinking of vaccines reminded me of my worst pickup/dating experience.
Years ago in my single life living in Raleigh, I sat next to this really attractive woman on a plane. Her family moved to the states from Vietnam or Laos at a young age. She was obviously flirting with me for the bulk of the flight, and laughing/touching more than typical.
Some strange things jumped out. She says she loves bowling, but didn't like too many other athletic sports. Strange because she appeared in good shape. Also liked toe-socks. ###?!?
Our plane touches down, she gives me her number, and we plan to meetup the next weekend.
We stand up to get our bag, and I notice she is struggling a bit. I help get her bag from the overhead, and comment that sometimes my legs fall asleep on the plane too.
She responds: 'Oh that's not it, I had polio as a child. My legs are still pretty weak'.
Took a long time to walk out of the airport. Can't remember I said much other giving her a hug.

Went on a double date once with a girl I had known

in high school, but I went to Clemson, she went to USC, got back in touch later....one of those deals. She had a friend that had just gotten out of a relationship or something, don't recall exactly and I told her I've got a single friend to bring along. Real nice guy, from up north but nobody ever really held it against him. Really a funny dude.
Anyway, turns out her friend is half black, but really, really light skinned. Very sexy chick. We all met up at the girls apartment and were riding out to the restaurant when my friend decides to turn on the charm......By asking us if we want to hear an n word joke. Only a few times in my life has my bhole clenched that hard. He's sitting in the back seat with her and I'm driving trying to signal NO NO NO NO to him through the mirror when he proceeds to tell the joke.....and another one....and one more just to make sure she was thoroughly offended. To her credit she was cool about it, never said anything but you could see her cringing. After the date was over I had to tell him and we drank Mad Doggs that night to kill the memory of how awkward it was.

Re: Worst pickup story

I had a jacked up GMC Sonoma, single cab and would just thrash the woods, trails, corn fields (winter time) with that thing. It was invincible. One night in Northern Georgia, Hiawassee, GA to be exact, I pulled the wheel to go into a corn field....running probably 25-30MPH. What I didn't see was a hidden culvert. I hit that thing and my truck absolutely went to zero MPH in about 0 seconds.
So now my bud and I are standing by this field wondering how to get the front of the truck out of the mud and muck, all the while some water was starting to flow into the truck.
Along comes either a Samurai or a Tracker, cant remember which kind, but they are the same thing, you get the point. We take some tow straps and start pulling it out of the ditch. The little thing pulls my truck out and JUST in time was my other buddy showing up with he Ford Ranger. That photo is still around and circulated. My pickup attached to a Suzuki/Geo POS.
Is this the type of pickup story you were wanting?
For nostalgia and you other 40 year olds...it was exactly this truck, but with some big 'ol BFG's.

If her legs were already weak that could have ended her Mortal Kombat style. It would have been your finishing move.

Tiny body, couldn't have weighed more than 100lbs. I could not overcome (nor come over) the dead legs.
