WLOS 13 ABC on Youtube TV Problem

Anyone seeing a "This Program's Unavailable For Streaming On the Internet" message when trying to watch WLOS 13 on Youtube TV? I was just trying it to make sure there weren't going to be any problems for 3:30 and couldn't get it to work.

Try logging out and logging back in. That's what I had to do. Now it works.

Occasionally this happens with specific shows. Try again with the next show and see if it works.

If your ISP is AT&T/Uverse it may impact as well

Just a guess. Don't know. Pretty harsh though (for Sinclair and/or AT&T) to block AT&T internet providers if legit contracted streaming services use those IP's. Say you pay for Hulu and they have a deal with Sinclair. But your internet is through AT&T. So even though you pay Hulu for the Sinclair rights, they (Sinclair or AT&T) cut it off with your internet connection? Sounds harsh, but could be an explanation.
My ISP is Spectrum.
This whole system is fubar IMO and will change. It reminds me of the upheaval the internet had on the music industry (RIAA, etc.). They had to adjust to the technology and new revenue streams, but refused to let go of the antiquated system that could no longer be profitable.

This crap would stop very quickly if advertisers pulled their ads due to reduced viewership.

But I would think that is illegal given that you pay Sinclair for rights through YoutubeTV and not through your AT&T ISP. But in theory if it got ugly, that could be the case. But then by keeping their stations off your AT&T internet connection, you're not getting the Sinclair stations who's rights you already pay for through YoutubeTV. That should cause a lawsuit if not worse.

It's the Sinclair stations, not the networks.

Sinclair owns a ton of local networks, with ABC, CBS, NBC, etc. They have a Fox affiliate here in Columbia. The issue is Sinclair, not the network (ABC/CBS/etc.)

If you cant find a work around for youtube try logging into watchESPN using your youtube tv credentials. You should still be able to get thr game through there. Another option is to get an HD antenna for ABC games.

It's working now with the football game that's about to start at 12:00. Maybe it was just the morning shows that were blocked from streaming.
