all over the field, moving the football at will with long and intermediate throws, then when they get a 7 point lead immediately reverts to WR screens and running plays with an unhealthy RB........what you have here is "Dabo Ball" also known by its other names of "Running out the Clock" and "Playing not to lose". So frustrating to watch it happen over and over but folks, there it is for all to see.

Can't argue too much with that. We did run Mafah when he was obviously hurt. We tried that botched trick play when we didn't need help moving the ball. Then Cade missed some easy throws. We didn't attempt many long throws in the 2nd half. It appeared we went conservative. Certainly our OL pass blocked really well against one of the nation's best pass rushes. Honestly the OL played outstanding. Having a faster RB would have worked wonders for our rushing total and converting short third down situations. We only gave Haynes two carries.

Yes the pass where cade missed Wesco on that one on one would have probably been a touchdown if he makes an accurate throw. The fourth and 1 inside the 5 we didn't convert and of course the interception on the gamecocks 18 yard line. Lack of execution at inopportune times definitely cost us yesterday.

In a nutshell!!! When we got the int with sc threating we stopped our energy and started 1st down run, 2nd long pass then screen to fool them, more Dabo than Riley. Why Hanyes was not in when banged up Mafa was not effective and still hurt from pitt game was stunning decision, Not Riley but controlling always right Dabo
