I shall not pass through darkness nor shall I find darkness on the other side. After all the promises of sustenance pertaining to life, both physical and spiritual Psa 23, adds "Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for thou art with me."
But what about the shadow?
Psa 139 King David says
"12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee."
Chapter 139 is a great comfort to me. I recommend everyone read it at least once or twice a week. It always puts me in my place and comforts me there.
The Gospel according to the record of John chpt 14 ices my cake with assurance of Who will walk with us:
"1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
