Hadn’t been back in town since football season and was curious what the massive new building is at the Walker Course/Martin Inn. Thanks.

I did, however, I had seen updates online for that and was aware before I arrived. When I took the boat out and saw that building though, I had no idea what it was.

I like the smokestacks; I think they look cool and are an important part of the history. I hope they keep them there.

there in 1972, equipping it with the newest "in fashion" TARTAN basketball court surfaces. Some great Intramural League games were had on those courts during that time. Also racquetball courts, which got a lot of use.
I remember a team made up of mostly football players dominating the basketball. And, we weren't even any good at football during that time.

It is the Alumni visitor center, as well as several other programs will be housed there. The board of trustees will also have offices in the building. The bottom floor will house the pro shop for the golf course.
