Jig head with a small Kai Tech bait on it and taught line going over the site into the river.....I picked up the lure and pulled $450.00 worth if rid and reel out ou the river and back into Ole Spud's possession...

rod I had just caught that first good smallmouth on....I had three rods on the deck and now there were only TWO...Now, keep in mind, MOST of the Broad River is less than three feet deep, but yet again, when I lost a rod, I JUST HAPPENED TO BE IN ABOUT 6 feet of water...I yelled over to Tater Tater that I had just lost a St. Croix rod and a Tatula SV reel...........and then I looked down and that little jig head and Kai Tec swimbait were SOMEHOW glued to the bottom of my kayak....I have no idea how the rod did not pull it over the side!!!
Also,I have that plat you were asking about. I will get it to you.....

next 2 or 3 days, which could muddy up the water for another week to 10 days...If it stays cool...well, half the time I am waist deep wading the river with my kayak tied to my life jacket...when the water get in the 70s...it is okay as long as you stay in the water, but when you get out and the temp is in the very low 70s or high 60s and the wind gets up.....

anywhere as long as you have rocks and clear water...well, it doesn't have to be crystal clear, but the clearer the better..and the slower the flow the better...I monitor the USGS site to keep up...I just wish I lived close enough to do a visual inspection.......Sometimes I miss it and I get there and it is what I call muddy...and you might as well just make a uturn and go home....BUT I NEVER DO. I always think I can trick them into biting.....Send me a tmail...

I enjoy them.
Sunday Major League Fishing starts another team tournament. They will be fishing in Wisconsin, Lake Winnebago area. It will be live streaming. I'll be watching.
Clemson alum, Andy Montgomery, will be fishing with Ott Defoe.
