We are being exposed as a fanbase

Not as a program. Dabo has a clear track record. I expect him to make changes, namely replacing Caldwell and dipping in to the portal.

Our fanbase...not nearly as proven. We are new to this level of success and it absolutely shows.

Remember who you are. Remember who we are. Happy days will be here again, and I would be willing to bet much sooner than later.

Go Tigers.

Not a fan base as a whole. We do have plenty of bandwagon fans and kids who grew up not knowing what the lean years were like.

Eh, most of these crybabies are the same ones who complain about everything no matter how good or bad it’s going.

Or, they are the ones who talk lots of smack and now it’s getting thrown back in their face and they can’t handle it so they take it out on the players, coaches, and fans with level heads.

You are exposing yourself as a cult member.

You have what’s called blind faith.

Religious dogma!

This is what happens to fans of charlatans, which is what happens to people that become dogmatic about religion or politics or anything else. Covid climate change pick the topic.

You need to see Florida State and Bobby Bowden as a cautionary tale. Clemson could easily become another FSU. Bobby Bowden got old. Dabo’s problem may be worse. He’s being stubborn and arrogant.

You have literally the learned the exact wrong lesson from the FSU situation. Impertinent and impatient boosters forced Bobby Bowden out with a win now at all cost mentality. That led to Jimbo Fisher allowing institutional rot to set in while pursuing his lone championship. For the fortunes they paid him A&M will once again be outside looking in. That program has been absolutely gutted precisely because of listening to boosters (who are just stupid fans with extra money). Our streak of top 10 appearances that was just broken leaves is as 3rd - OF ALL TIME. EVER. OF ALL THE HUNDREDS OF TEAMS. THOUSANDS OF COACHES. And you think it’s time for the admin to step in and save us from this coach because you rile yourself up on the internet.

YAWN.

In case you missed it, Clemson Football is a BUSINESS with a national brand. It literally drives huge chunks of the upstate's economy. Dabo know this. That is why he asked the university to pay him what amounts to almost $10 million a year. (Most of that culture talk is for sunshine pumpers, people who like to "remind" others they are spoiled and gullible rubes). So far, it has been a good deal for both sides - mostly. Never forget; Dabo is a steward of the Clemson Football BRAND. Right now, he is failing miserably at his job as a steward of the brand. His hand-picked management team is comprised of yes men and paycheck collectors and many (not all) of them have no business continuing in their roles. I am ready for Dabo to take drastic action before he buries the Clemson Football brand with a 5 -year rebuild. If he won't, then D-Rad should "encourage" him to do it.

Yes, the offense looks alarmingly bad. So did our defense against WVU. Have some faith for once in your lives. Show up and support these guys.

Clemson had a brand. Dabo simply took it to the next level. Many of us have always known Clemson is unique and could be this dominant if only the administration got out of the way and we had the right coach.

Dabo has been amazing in his recruiting and program building

Dabo recruited Chad Morris and Brent Venables.

Chad recruited Deshaun Watson who changed the Clemson Football program trajectory by beating a Bama Defense that was one of the all-time best, one of Saban's best all-around teams. The Bama team Clemson beat in 2016 season was better than Clemson at a minimum of 15 starting positions and most backup positions. Thank you D. Watson for the courage and the audibles -- My favorite all-time Clemson player along with Jeff Davis, Fridge, Bubba Brown, and Christian Wilkins. And Brent Venables has been legendary in building the Power Rangers and tip-top Defense's on an annual basis. Two great hires by Dabo.

It is clear Dabo needs someone to reconstruct the Offense and the play calling.

Some of understand that though he has been the greatest brand-builder, he also has the potential to be the greatest brand equity destroyer. Just like any CEO with near unchecked power. (Power and money do funny things to people). And for the last couple of years the brand his been on a downward slide.

If anything it exposes people like you who just stick your fingers and denies reality. This is a program that runs on a budget well over 100 million dollars per year. Programs like these make tough decisions and do it quickly to make sure the glaring problems are fixed. We are currently NOT being run like a top program. Too much buddy buddy hire your friend with zero experience going on right now. You really think Saban or any of the other top coaches would be doing what Dabo is doing now? #### no. They would have pulled the QB and swapped play callers before it got to WORST IN THE NATION levels 4 games in.

This staff right now is an embarrassment.

Is supporting my initial argument.

If our offensive struggles continue and no significant changes are made, I will certainly be concerned.

But I don't see that happening based on Dabo's track record. Yes, I have faith in the greatest coach in Clemson history that has gotten us to unimaginable heights. If that makes me dogmatic, then so be it.

Irrational fans don’t speak for our entire fan base.

The bulk of our true fans were disappointed about the UGA game, but remained optimistic. Since then, our offense hasn’t really improved. Coaches didn’t seem to make any notable changes in scheme or players.

It shouldn’t take four games of offensive struggles and our most disappointing start in over a decade for our coaches to recognize that there is a problem.

Remember, our coaching staff is paid really really well. They are supposed to be the best in the business. Based on our recent success and our talent level, we shouldn’t have been in this situation to begin with, and we certainly shouldn’t see such a lack of concern or recognition up until now.

Yes, we must continue to support this team. But until our coaches show some signs that they have any idea how to fix these significant issues, people will be guarded in their optimism.

Is to not get upset with a lost to a mediocre football team that most of us can give you at least five reasons, of why we hate they’re fan base? I get mad when we lose. It affects me for days. It affects my mood. Ruins my weekend and week. If you’re not being affected by a loss then I question just how invested in Clemson football you are. We are told that “ excellence is a standard.” Clemson is not playing to the Clemson standard.

That sounds pretty serious. You may want to re-evaluate your relationship with sports. Losing hurts, but I have things in my life that are far important and help give perspective on something that amounts to a game between 18-22 year old developing men.

Gotta agree with you here. I hate seeing Clemson lose as much as anyone but it doesn't ruin my weekend the way it used to. Maybe it's because I'm older now and less of a live wire, but I had no issues turning the game off yesterday when I felt myself getting frustrated. It's just not worth it. My mental health is more important.

I used to dwell on losses like that as a teenager. I love Clemson football as much as anyone but I’m not out there on the field. I pray for serenity to accept what I can’t change, courage to change what I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Do I like everything as it is 4 games in? No. I will still support and cheer on those young men on the field though, win or lose. Go Tigers!

You apparently are basing this on a very very small sampling of fans on a few Clemson sports sites. I would wager to guess that the vast majority of Tiger supporters are solidly behind Dabo and the football team. I sure am! I would say that we are no different than other fan bases, but we are. Does that mean we are not going to have any disgruntled fans? No, but we have a lot more loyal fans than the majority of schools out there.

All of that does not mean we do not have the right to express our disappointment at some of the things we see on the football field. I think there may be some degree of contentment that has set in with program despite or assurances over the past year that Dabo would never let that happen. And I am sure that it hasn't happened consciously. It's up to Dabo, with our support, to get things back on track and that is what I expect.
