Vic Beastly was #1 Sacker way back with 10. Where is he now

Saying..he's slowed down a lot in last several games I believe..but he's way ahead of Clowney who has only 2 IMO.
What say you?!

from a sack standpoint maybe, but you gotta look more......

in depth
FSU was EVERYBODY'S "off game"
Maryland he had 4 tackles and a sack UVA i wasn't paying attention, but i'd imagine he played half the game seeing it was a blowout GT and Citadel runs the triple option and doesn't "play into his game"
my biggest concern about him vs south carolina is getting TOO far up field and shaw stepping up and running or the screen game that killed mizzou in the 4th........hopefully the triple option has made him and our defense a little bit more discipline to negate that

You can bet Venables saw that already and will be ready

We've actually done pretty well against WR and RB screens, showing that our defenders are reading their key's correctly. Shuey and Anthony have eaten most screens over the middle alive so I have faith they'll be sure to look out for Davis coming out of the backfield this game.

hasn't had a sack in three games...

but that's because he got hurt in the UVa game and GT and Citadel didn't throw the ball. He did have a bunch of plays in the backfield against both GT and Citadel, it seemed like.

Yeah he didn't have sacks but I think he had 3TFL against GT

Also he was very close to two sacks in the GT game, the QB just got rid of the ball half a second before being hit.

I think he'll be at the top of his game. He'll find ways around and disrupt Shaw even if he doesn't get the sack often.

Beasley tied for 9th, Clowney tied for 373rd

Clowney is tied with 221 others, so 593 players have as many or more sacks than him.
