You can find a QB that will give you similar points to Carr off waivers. You can't get a guy like Cook every day, even with injuries. Did someone really offer you that straight up?

EDIT: I'm assuming this is a fantasy football question and not just a basic NFL question.

True, but if Cook goes down, he's pretty much irreplaceable at that position. Someone else can be subbed in for Carr. But sounds like you know that.

Cook is going to get 23-28 touches a game. Even in a non PPR league Cook is much more valuable than Carr and just about any QB outside of the top 2-3 QBs. QB's are a dime-a-dozen.

Heck, I picked up Carr off of waivers this week in our league.
